Our week in the Design Studio Intro began with an insightful overview of what the course entails and some valuable recommendations to reach a progress:

• Take risks

• Reach out and ask questions

• Build trust early

• Focus on what truly matters to you

• Progress step by step

• Be hands-on and experimental

I’m eager to apply these suggestions throughout the course. While I do feel some apprehension about the potential challenges of connecting with locals, I’m trying to approach it with enthusiasm and a sense of adventure.
